NLDအစိုးရ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး သူရဦးအောင်ကို ကို ဇန်နဝါရီ ၃ ရက်နေ့ညပိုင်းမှာ  အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်အုပ်စုက ပြန်လွှတ်ပေးခဲ့ကြောင်းသိရသည်။

NLD အစိုးရ သာသနာရေးဝန်ကြီး သူရဦးအောင်ကိုသည် ထောင်၁၂နှစ်ချမှတ်ခံထားရသူဖြစ်ပြီး မည်သည့်ကြေညာချက်မှ ထုတ်ပြန်ခြင်းမရှိဘဲ စစ်အုပ်စုက ပြန်လွှတ်ပေးခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း နိုင်ငံရေးအကျဉ်းသားဟောင်းများအဖွဲ၊ဦးဆောင်ကော်မတီဝင် ဦးထွန်းကြည်က ပြောသည်။

“ဦးအောင်ကိုက အင်းစိန်ထောင် ၁တိုက်ထဲကနေ မနေ့ညက ပြန်လွတ်လာပြီး ရဲအစောင့်အရှောက် နဲ့ အိမ်ပြန်ပိုပေးလိုက်တယ်လို သိရတယ်။သူက ကျန်းမာရေးလည်း တော်တော်မကောင်းဘူး”ဟု ၎င်းကပြောသည်။

ဇန်နဝါရီ၄ရက်နေ့သည် သူရဦးအောင်ကို၏ ၇၅နှစ်မြောက်မွေးနေ့လည်း ဖြစ်သည်။ “ညဘက် ထောင်ပိတ်ချိန်ကျမှ ပြန်လွှတ်တာလို ကြားရတယ်။ထောင်ဥပဒေအရကတော့ ထောင်ပိတ်ချိန်မှာ လွှတ်လိုမရဘူး။ဒါပေမဲ့ မင်းအောင်လှိင်လက်ထက်မှာ ဥပဒေဆိုတာ သူတိုပါးစပ်ပေါက်ပဲရှိတော့ လွှတ်တာပါပဲ”ဟု မဲဆောက်ရောက် နိုင်ငံရေးအကျဉ်းသားဟောင်းတစ်ဦးက ပြောသည်။

ဇန်နဝါရီ ၄ ရက်နေ့တွင် လွတ်ငြိမ်းသက်သာပေးမည်ဟု သတင်းထွက်ပေါ်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ယနေ့ထုတ် စစ်အုပ်စုသတင်းစာထဲတွင် လွတ်ငြိမ်းခွင့် ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်ပါမလာသလို သူရဦးအောင်ကိုကလွဲ၍ တခြားနိုင်ငံရေးအကျဉ်းသားများအား ပြန်လွှတ်ပေးသည်ဟု မကြားရသေးပေ။

NLD Minister, Thura U Oo Aung Ko, who was imprisoned for 12 years, was released last night

It is reported that the NLD Government's Union Minister, Thura U Aung Ko, was released by the terrorist SAC last night on 3 January.

U Tun Kyi, a member of Steering Committee of the former Political Prisoners' Association, said that “the NLD government's Minister of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Tura U Aung Ko, was sentenced to 12 years in prison and was released by the SAC without any announcement”.

“I heard that U Aung Ko was released from Insein Prison No.1 last night and was sent home under police escort. He is also in very bad health," he said.

January 4 is also the 75th birthday of Thar U Aung Ko.

"I heard that he was released when the prison closed at night. According to the prison law, they cannot be released when the prison is closed. But under Min Aung Hlaing, the law was only their mouth, so they released," a former political prisoner in Mae Sot said.

It was reported that the SAC would pardon the prisoners on 4 January, but there was no announcement of the pardon in today's SAC’s newspaper. It has not been heard that other political prisoners will be released except for Thura U Aung Ko
