မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအရေးကို ပုပ်ရဟန်းမင်းကြီးက ခရစ္စမတ်နေ့တွင် ထည့်သွင်းပြောကြားခဲ့သော်လည်း ထေကြီးဝါကြီး သံဃာတော်ကြီးများမှာ မြန်မာပြည်သူတိုနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ရေငုံနှုတ်ပိတ် မသိချင် ယောင်ဆောင်နေကြကြောင်း ရန်ကုန်အခြေစိုက်နိုင်ငံရေးသုံးသပ်သူတစ်ဦးကဆိုသည်။

ပုပ်ရဟန်းမင်းကြီး ဖရန်စစ်က ဒီဇင်ဘာ၂၅ရက်၊စိန့်ပီတာကျောင်းတော်၌ ကျင်းပသည့် ခရစ္စမတ်နေ့ အခမ်းအနားတွင် “ယီမင်နိုင်ငံမှာ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး အဓွန့်ရှည်စေဖို၊ မြန်မာနဲ့ အီရန်မှာ ပြန်လည်သင့်မြတ်ဖိုနဲ့ သွေးထွက်သံယိုမှုတွေ အဆုံးသတ်ဖို အလင်းပြနိုင်ပါစေ”ဟု မိန့်ကြားခဲ့ကြောင်း VOA ကဖော်ပြသည်။

On 25 December, the Pope Francis spoke that at the Christmas Day ceremony held at St. Peter’s Cathedral, “Let’s be last peace in Yemen”, and “Let’s end to the bloodshed and shine a light on reconciliation in Myanmar and in Iran,” VOA reported.

 The Pope Francis spoke about the Myanmar people who are being killed and tortured by the SAC from time to time. He does not forget to speak about Myanmar issue. Our Myanmar venerable monks act like they don't have anything to do with the Spring Revolution and they do not speak anything that the Myanmar people are being killed and violented by the SAC. It is very sad," he said.
